In this essay, we’ll introduce how to install Outlook for Linux using an open-source package developed specifically for this purpose. Microsoft’s Viewpoint is a tool for handling unique data. It includes daily planning, daily plan, contacts, and email management. The viewpoint can be pretty helpful when you work in a professional environment and believe that an easy path should be taken to handle your everyday work (or, on the other hand, assuming the company limits you to get Outlook).

Microsoft does not give out a license application for Linux. Thankfully, the open-source community has identified workarounds, enabling a fully functional Outlook application on Linux. We need to understand how this is possible. Microsoft Outlook has a work-based program called Prospect Mail that runs on electrons. Prospect Mail is the most well-worked and well-maintained application, even though other programs like Freelook and perspective for Linux do a similar function.

How to do the setup?

We’ll go through how to set up the Prospect Mail application on your Linux computer in this guide section.

By pressing Ctrl + Alt + T or Ctrl + Shift + T on the console, you can open a server and start the installation process.

Everyone has a different Linux distribution. The article mentions how to set up the program in other Linux distributions. Once the server is open, follow the installation instructions listed below that are specific to the Linux distribution you use:

1. Ubuntu

There’s a DEB bundle of Prospect Mail that Ubuntu Linux users can, without much of a problem, install and accommodate using the joint wget order:

wget https://archive.org/download/prospect-mail/prospect-mail_0.1.2_amd64.deb

Download the prospect mail DEB bundle on your Linux device with the help of the t application. When the downloading system is done, you can use the dpkg order given below to introduce the Prospect Mail application on your Ubuntu Linux device:

sudo dpkg -iIprospect-mail_0.1.2_amd64.deb

2. Debian

To introduce the Prospect Mail application on Debian, you should download the DEB bundle to your Device. to do this, open the actual site. Then use the wget downloader application code given below to get the DEB bundle:

wget https://archive.org/download/prospect-mail/prospect-mail_0.1.2_amd64.deb

3. Fedora

There’s an RPM bundle document of Prospect Mail that can be accessed, so assuming you’re using Fedora Linux, it’ll be not difficult to introduce. Use the wget code to get the RPM bundle:

wget https://archive.org/download/prospect-mail/prospect-mail-0.1.2.x86_64.rpm

Following the download of the Prospect Mail RPM bundle record on your Linux device, use the DNF bundle chief order given below to introduce the product:

sudo dnf install prospect-mail-0.1.2.x86_64.rpm

4. OpenSUSE

Using OpenSUSE Linux and hoping to get Prospect Mail introduced? This is true; you only have to get the RPM form downloaded. To install it, use the wget order given below on a server:

wget https://archive.org/download/prospect-mail/prospect-mail-0.1.2.x86_64.rpm

After you’ve downloaded the RPM bundle to your OpenSUSE Linux PC,  it to the Zypper bundle admin:

sudo zypper install prospect-mail-0.1.2.x86_64.rpm

5. AppImage

There’s an AppImage of Prospect Mail for those not ready to use DEB or RPM bundle documents. In order to use AppImage, install it through the wget order given below:

When the AppImage record is done installing, make another envelope called “AppImages” in your home catalog with the mkdir order:

mkdir -p ~/AppImages/

Move the Prospect Mail AppImage record into the new envelope using the mv order:

mv ‘Prospect Mail-0.1.2.AppImage’ ~/AppImages/

Move the l window into the “AppImages” index with the CD order:

cd ~/AppImages/

Update the consent of the AppImage document with chmod.

chmod +x ‘Prospect Mail-0.1.2.AppImage’

You can then run the application with:

./’Prospect Mail-0.1.2.AppImage’

Or on the other hand, open up the Linux record checker, click on the “AppImages” envelope, and double tap on Prospect Mail-0.1.2.AppImage.

6. Snap bundle

To make Prospect Mail work if you’re using a Linux distribution that supports Snaps, follow the steps below;

sudo snap install prospect-mail

finally setting up the output

To get to your Outlook profile in Linux, begin by sending off the Prospect Mail application to the work address. Then, at that time, with the application open, you will see a login screen. According to this screen, “Sign in to go to Outlook.” Put in your email address and click on the blue-colored ‘next’ button in the right bottom corner. write in your credentials and sign in after clicking on the “following” button, and sign in. After marking into the Outlook login page, your record will load, and you’ll have the option to get to your email.
